Quick answer

This is an independent educational resource about LinPEAS and Linux privilege-escalation auditing. It is not the official PEASS-ng website and has no affiliation with the project. Our goal is the clearest, most accurate, most useful LinPEAS documentation on the web, written for defenders and authorised testers.

Independent resource

This is an independent educational resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or the official website of the PEASS-ng project. LinPEAS and PEASS-ng are developed by Carlos Polop and contributors; the trademarks, project names and code belong to their respective owners.

What we do#

We explain what LinPEAS is, how to install and run it safely, what its output means, and the Linux concepts behind every check. We verify technical claims against the official PEASS-ng releases and source, and we date every review.

What we don't do#

  • We do not claim to develop, own or represent LinPEAS or PEASS-ng.
  • We do not publish exploitation walk-throughs for unauthorised targets.
  • We do not use fake experts, testimonials, download counters or user numbers.
  • We do not host copies of the script — download from the official releases.

Credit where it's due#

LinPEAS and the wider PEASS-ng suite are created by Carlos Polop and open-source contributors. The project lives at github.com/peass-ng/PEASS-ng. If you find LinPEAS useful, support the project directly.
